MXP Browser (mxpbrowser)

Description

The MXP Browser is a Windows-based application for browsing the contents of MasterCook MXP export files. It is compatible with MasterCook 3/4/5/6. Recipes are organized by title and category. Recipes can be viewed and printed.

It is not intended to be a substitute for MasterCook itself. It was just created to solve a problem. (It also got me an A+ in a Software Engineering class.)

How to Get It and Use It

If you just want to use the program, for now there is no difference between the version on SourceForge and the version that's been out since 2001, so go ahead and download the mxpview.exe file from a website like this one.

If you want to tinker, the source code can be downloaded from SourceForge.net in the Files area. You'll need at least Delphi 3 to compile it. I've compiled it with Delphi 5 and that works, too. Down the road I'll probably put an installable package up there.

I have personally tested this application on Windows 95, 98, NT 3.51, NT 4 and 2000. I have encountered no issues.

No screenshots at the moment.

Documentation

I don't have documentation written yet. Luckily, using the program is self-explanatory.
